Since bonds are an investment vehicle more like a CD, they don’t work quite like a checking account where you can regularly access just interest paid.

That said, we know people like to put their interest to work if possible so we created a feature where every time your interest reaches $10, a new bond is issued with that interest. We called them “interest bonds” and you can then cash those in to give you access to additional funds without disturbing your original principal.

To take advantage of "interest bonds", you need to enable the Automatic Reinvestments feature on your Settings page.
