There's no greater gift than one that keeps on giving. And who would say no to a brighter financial future? Our gift bonds can be a fantastic surprise for your financially-ambitious friends and family, but not just anyone can receive this gift. For a seamless gifting experience, please ensure that your recipients meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Age - At this time, Worthy bonds may only be held by customers who are at least 18 years of age. Recipients have 30 days from the date that the gift bond purchase settles to claim their gift.

  2. Residency - To successfully complete registration with Worthy, recipients must be able to list a permanent, valid home address. P.O. boxes, or temporary residencies such as Residential Reentry Centers (RRCs), will not be accepted or serviced by our payment provider.

  3. SSN - Worthy takes security seriously, and requires that a valid social security number be provided and verified during registration by the gift recipient (all SSNs are safely encrypted in our system).

  4. United States bank account - We employ Plaid as our 3rd-party provider for several vital in-app features, and Dwolla as our payment provider. Both entities have their own specific requirements for which banks they are able to service, but in general, we have the highest rates of success working with most mainstream US-based banking institutions.

  5. Mobile number - In an effort to ensure that our customers' accounts remain in good hands, we require a mobile phone number to be provided and verified upon registration.

Worthy Gift Bonds have been eagerly awaited by many, and we're so excited to be able to offer them in time for the holidays. We want to help you share the gift of a bright financial future, so please reach out to us at support@worthy.us or use our handy in-app chat support service with any questions or concerns.
