Bonds are a unique investment product in that they are meant to be held for a long time. Because we offer compounding interest, the longer you maintain your bonds in your account, the more interest you earn on a daily basis.

Because your account is designed to grow with you, you may find that you're not who you were when you registered--perhaps you've relocated, gotten married, or taken a promotion that qualified you for accreditation status. Good news: your Worthy account is built to be dynamic, and can change in all of the ways that you do!

Name change

Legal names are a primary identifying token on Worthy accounts, and are one way that Dwolla ensures the security of your funds and personal information. As such, Worthy passes any name change requests to Dwolla for verification.

To request a name change, simply shoot us a message in our in-app chat, or via email at support@worthy.us. Please note that Dwolla may require that you upload a valid government-issued ID to our secure in-app portal to confirm your new identity, so if your name change is informal or not yet legally complete, you may want to wait on this.

Address change

Changing an address is simple--we only ask that the address you have on file be a permanent residence that can receive mail. This is both regulatory and practical, as we want to ensure that we have somewhere we can send mail (such as vital communications or a check) as a back-up to our online processes.

To do so, please log into your account and go to Menu > Settings > Profile settings > Profile information, and fill/edit the appropriate fields. Don't forget to hit "Save" before you exit this page.

Accreditation status change

Updating your accreditation status is easy: simply log into your account and go to Menu > Settings > Profile settings > Profile information, then tap or click this toggle switch

...and hit "Save."
