Email address changes are a delicate process, as your email address is the primary identifying token on your account and is vital to your account access. As such, Worthy has a multi-step identity verification process that must be completed (since we can't simply check your ID like a brick-and-mortar business can 🙂).
We first will need to verify your identity via a brief Google Meet video chat. In this call, we need to see your face and a government-issued photo ID, & ask a couple of verification questions based on information you provided to Worthy during registration. Once this is complete, we can proceed with updating the email address on your account.
To proceed with an email address change, please email us at support@worthy.us (or send us a message via our in-app support chat module) providing the following so we can get your meeting scheduled:
Your timezone;
The new email address you'd like to assign to your account, and;
A few short timeframes in the coming days or weeks that you're available to meet (the meeting will only take a few minutes).
Once we recieve your email or message, we can confirm your appointment and will get your login credentials updated during the call.
