How do I cancel my transaction?

Am I able to stop a pending transfer?

Once you confirm a bond purchase or withdrawal, you have a small window of time (typically within the same business day) before the transaction exports wherein you may cancel it. To do so, go to Menu (icon with three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of your dashboard) > Offerings (or simply follow this link), then scroll down to Transaction Activity. If your transaction can still be canceled, you will see an orange "cancel" button next to the transaction details. The button will be greyed out or disappear once the transaction has exported and can no longer be canceled.

Transactions can only be cancelled before 5pm on the business day they are initiated (or the next day before 5pm if the bonds were bought after 5pm). They may also be canceled before Monday if purchased after hours on Friday or over a weekend. If you miss the cancellation deadline, because our bonds have no sale restrictions, you can simply sell the bonds as soon as the transaction clears to effectively reverse the transaction.

Please note that if you are looking to cancel due to a funding source closure, withdrawn funds will bounce back to our intermediary account from which they can be forwarded to a new account. Purchases from a closed account will simply fail after several days, if not immediately. πŸ™‚
